In furtherance of its drive to boost a national savings culture in Nigeria, Fidelity Bank Plc today announced the launch of the Season 3 phase of the “Get Alert in Millions Promo” in Lagos.
At a press conference in the bank’s head office in Lagos, the MD/CEO Mr Nnamdi Okonkwo in his brief remarks shared that customer service delivery, was key to the financial institution.
He also disclosed that Fidelity bank was undertaking a transformation plan, through its digital strategy that will move it to a digital-led era.
Okonkwo said the season 3 promo of the ‘Get Alert in Millions Promo’ was the eigth promo in 11 years, and is designed to create value and opportunities for customers.
Speaking on the objective of the promo, the Executive Director, Shared Services for Fidelity bank Chijioke Ugochukwu informed the media that the promo was designed to deepen financial inclusion in the country.
She also asserted that the promo was focused on reaching out to the unbanked population across the nation.
Giving the features of the “Get Alert in Millions” promo Mr. Richard Madiebo Divisional Head/Retail Bank said it was targeted at the Floating middle-class, Middle-class and the Mass affluent.
He also outlined the following as the criteria and rewards from the promo;
1.New customers are to grow their Fidelity bank account to N20,000 while existing customers are to top up account with N10,000 or more to qualify for monthly draws to win N2m, 1m & consolation prizes.
2.Topping up a Fidelity bank account with N50,000 or more qualifies one for Bi-monthly draws to win N3m
A N200,000 balance or more qualifiers one for the Grand draw to win N10m.
An estimated N110m has been earmarked for the promo and the draws will be held across the six geo-political zones.
Highights of the media parley was a demonstration on how the QR code works for customers.
The press conference also had in attendance, past winners of the promo and officials from the National Lottery Regulatory Commission.
