NEM Promote Healthy Workforce With Fitness Walk

NKECHI NAECHE ESEZOBOR—Poised to promote healthy workforce among its staffs, top underwriter, NEM Insurance Plc on Saturday held its 2019 annual fitness walk.

The event which started from its head office in Obanikoro, Ikorodu Road, down to Maryland and finally ended at its head office was also aimed at promoting mutual bounding among its staffs. 

 Mr Tope Smart, Group Managing Director/CEO, Managing Director, NEM Insurance Plc, addressing staffs at the event.

The Group Managing Director, Tope Smart, while speaking to insurance journalist on the sideline of the event said that the event which is an annual event was slso help promoting  insurance awareness.

”Beyond ensuring that we build physical and mental health for better productivity, we are also creating awareness about insurance,” he said.

Smart, who led the walk with over 300 staffs, said that with the walk, a lot of attention had been attracted, adding this would help to build the awareness about NEM and insurance services withinikorodu road.

“We are very proud of our industry and we will continue to promote it,” Smart said.
