ZENITHBANK was the most actively traded stock with about 53million units of shares worth about N1.06billion.

- NSE Banking Index: Rose by 0.46%, due to the uptrend in GUARANTY (+1.52%), ETI (+1.16%), andFIDELITYBK (+0.49%).
- NSE Consumer Goods Index: Advanced by 0.21%,as a result of the buy-interests inPZ (+5.00%), GUINNESS (+3.33%), DANGSUGAR (+0.74%),andFLOURMILL (+0.48%).
- NSE Industrial Index: Increased by0.15%, on the back of gain inWAPCO (+2.06%).
- NSE Oil & Gas Index:Was down by0.17%, as a result of sell-off in ARDOVA (-3.61%).

The equities market closed flat today. While we believe the risk-off sentiment on the back of weak oil price as well as the impact of the Coronavirus could continue to weigh in on the equities market, we opine that this may be one of the best periods to start picking some of the quality names with a medium to long-term investment horizon.
