882 Microfinance Banks Gets CBN’s Nod To Operate In Nigeria

BY NKECHI NAECHE—The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on Monday said it has granted 882 l microfinance banks License to  operating in Nigeria as at September 30, 2018.

The apex bank disclosed this through a circular it posted on its official website dated 29th October 2018 with reference Num FPR/DIR/GEN/CIR/07/008 that these banks have been authorized to operate in Nigeria.
