BY NKECHI NAECHE—-Pan African bank, Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI) has announced a profit of N102.17billion for the financial year ended 31 December 2018.
According to the bank its profits for the year under review grew from N69.99 billion in 2017 to N102.17 billion in 2018; amounting to 46.0 percent increase.
This according to the bank is contained in a notice it sent to NSE that the bank’s Gross earnings went up 1.3 percent from N763.63 billion to N773.34 billion in the review period of 2018 while pretax profit increased 53.5 percent to N135.53 billion from 88.31 billion declared the same period of 2017.
