BY NKECHI NAECHE-ESEZOBOR—Universal Insurance Plc on Tuesday said it has gotten approval from National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) to underwrite Agric insurance business.
The Managing Director/CEO Ben Ujoatuonu, disclosed this to BusinessToday Online on the sideline of the joint 48th and 49th annual General Meetings that this will help to reposition the company’s income in 2020.
He assured that the new things being introduced by the company
He added that the management is strategizing to develop new products with 12 new products awaiting the NAICOM’s approval as a measure to deepen the market.
