NSE Lift Suspension On Trading Of Prestige Assurance Shares

BY NKECHI NAECHE—--Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) has lifted the suspension placed on the trading of shares of Prestige Assurance Plc on the floor of the Exchange.

This is contained in a notice made availed to BusinessToday Online that the full suspension placed on trading on the shares of Prestige Assurance Plc (‘’the Company’’) was lifted, Wednesday, 28 March 2018, upon conclusion of the share reduction exercise, the resultant outstanding shares of 3,817,412,096 of the Company was also listed same day. Consequently, trading on the shares was lifted.

it would be recalled that the Exchange last week Friday placed the shares of the company on full suspension, this according to the Exchange is to enable the company’s registrars update the register of shareholders for the planned Share Capital Reconstruction of the firm.
