BY NKECHI NAECHE-ESEZOBOR The Lagos State Government on Tuesday cancelled the planned reopening of worship centers following the easing of the lockdown occasioned by the Coronavirus Disease.

The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, disclosed this in a news briefing that the decision had been rescinded.

He said this followed the rising cases of COVID-19 in the state.

The State Government had last week said mosques and churches could open from June 19 and 21 respectively.
