Nigeria Announces Domestic Flights Resumption in Lagos, Abuja July 8

The Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, has announced that Abuja and Lagos airports will reopen for domestic operations on July 8.

Disclosing this through a tweet posted on Wednesday evening that Kano, Port Harcourt, Owerri and Maiduguri airports would resume on the July 11 while other airports would follow on July 15.

International flights would soon be announced, he noted.

“I am glad to announce that Abuja and Lagos airports will resume domestic operations on July 8, 2020. Kano, Port Harcourt, Owerri and Maiduguri to resume on the 11th. Other airports on the 15th. Date for international to be announced in due course.”
