BY NKECHI NAECHE-ESEZOBOR–The board of directors of AIICO Insurance Plc at the weekend announced the resignation of it’s Executive Director in charge of Retail Business, Mr. Olusola Ajayi from the board of the Company.
According to notice signed by company Secretary, Donard Kanu, to the Nigerian Exchange Group and made available to BusinessToday Online that he did not give any reason for the resignation from the Board.
The Board and Management of the Company however , according to the notice, “commends Mr. Ajayi for his leadership qualities and contributions made to the growth of the Company during his stay in the Company and on the board and wish him well in his future endeavours”.
Olusola is an experienced business leader with over fifteen years’ leadership positions in management consulting and insurance in Nigeria and the United Kingdom. He joined AlICO in 2009 as head of the Business Strategy and Transformation teams.
