Ogun Govt. Congratulates New DSS DG

The Ogun State Government has congratulated the new Director General of the State Security Service (DSS), Mr. Adeola Oluwatosin Ajayi, on his appointment by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing him as a round peg in a round hole.

The congratulatory message, which was signed by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Strategy, Hon. Kayode Akinmade stated that the appointment of Ajayi, who has risen through the ranks to reach the highest point in the service, would immensely strengthen the security architecture of Nigeria.

It commended President Tinubu for his inherent capacity for talent-hunting, saying the new Director General of the secret service has paid his dues in intelligence gathering and national security, with his rare capacity for operational efficiency and leadership.

“On behalf of the government and the good people of Ogun State, we heartily congratulate one of our illustrious sons in Ogun State and a thorough professional by all standards, Mr. Adeola Oluwatosin Ajayi, on his appointment as the new Director General of the State Security Service (DSS) by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“Obviously, the new DG of DSS has proven his mettle as a vibrant and seasoned professional in the field of intelligence gathering, with the capability to solidify Nigeria’s security architecture for better performance.

“To this end, we, therefore, commend President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his penchant for competence and requisite capacity for quality delivery,” the statement read.
