BREAKING: Why I Resigned From PDP Osun Central Senator

In what is seen as another high-profile exit from the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) in Osun State, Senator Olubiyi Fadeyi-Ajagunla, representing Osun Central Senatorial District in the Senate has officially resigned from the party, reports Business Today NG
Fadeyi-Ajagunla cited irreconcilable differences with the party’s leadership as the reason for his departure from the PDP.
His resignation comes barely few hours after the resignation of Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi representing Osun East Senatorial District in the National Assembly from the PDP
Business Today NG leant Fadeyi-Ajagunla resignation was disclosed in a personally signed letter, datedJune 12, 2025, and tendered to the PDP chairman of Ward 3, Oke-Ejigbo, Ila-Orangun.
“I wish to formally notify you that I am resigning my Membership of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) with immediate effect.
“Irreconcilable difference and irreparable division that have emerged and court cases and counter court cases in the last 3 years which has Created faction in the party at the National level.
“This was concluded after consultation and engagement with my political associates, family and friends.
“Thanking you in advance for accepting my resignation.
“Thank you.” Fadeyi-Ajagunla said in the letter.
