Things are certainly looking for the famous Nigerian singer, Ayra Starr as her song grossed over 35 million streams and has made history as the first African artist to earn a Latin Diamond certification, reports Business Today NG
Starr international collaboration with Rvssian and Rauw Alejandro, ‘Santa’, was certified Latin Diamond by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for grossing over 35 million streams.
The singer joins Rema, whose song ‘Bubalu’ is certified Platinum, as the only African artists with RIAA Latin certifications.
‘Santa’ is also certified multiple Platinum in Spain and Mexico. It topped the Spanish chart and peaked at No. 2 in Colombia, Ecuador, and Central America.
