Staff Celebrate DG Oloworaran’s Remarkable First Year at PenCom

BY NKECHI NAECHE-ESEZOBOR—Staff of the National Pension Commission (PenCom) have honoured the Director General, Ms. Omolola Oloworaran, as she marks her first year in office, celebrating what they describe as a year of exemplary leadership and impactful reforms.

Since assuming office, Ms. Oloworaran has been credited with fostering a more efficient, transparent, and innovative pension administration system, earning the admiration and support of the Commission’s workforce.

Her commitment to staff welfare, improved service delivery, and strategic policy direction has positioned PenCom for greater organisational growth, prompting heartfelt commendations from employees across various departments.

The visibly elated DG was welcomed at the entrance by a Team of Commissioners and Senior Management who accompanied her on the stairway to her office.

On each floor, staff had gathered and rained a thunderous applause, chanting encomiums on the DG.

PenCom staff commended the DG for her visionary and impactful leadership of the Pension industry. They spoke glowingly about the successes recorded especially the timely payment of accrued pension rights to retirees. Also, her unparalleled commitment to staff welfare drew lots of commendation from the staff.

Under her guidance, PenCom has experienced renewed energy, stronger collaboration, and a clear sense of direction as the Commission advances major reforms across the pension industry. Her leadership continues to inspire confidence and drive excellence across the organisation.
