Meet Nike Nihinlola, Acting Managing Director of STACO Insurance Plc

BY NKECHI NAECHE-ESEZOBOR—Staco Insurance Plc has appointed Nike Nihinlola  as its acting Managing Director, following the demise of Dr Olawale Banmore, former Managing Director.

According to statement released  by the company, her appointment has received approval of the board of directors and awaits regulatory body – National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) confirmation. 

Nike is an accomplished insurance professional with nearly three decades of cognate experience in the insurance industry. A Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (FIIN), she has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership across multiple roles, including administrator, strategist, motivator, and mentor.

Her extensive professional career spans dedicated service in reputable insurance firms such as Consolidated Hallmark Insurance and Great Nigeria Insurance, among others. She currently serves as the Executive Director (Technical and Operations) at STACO Insurance Plc, where she continues to contribute significantly to operational excellence and industry growth.

Nike Nihinlola holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from the prestigious University of Ibadan and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Lagos State University. She is an active industry contributor and presently serves as a member of the Mandatory Continuous Professional Development (MCPD) Committee of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN) from 2024 to date. She also served as the Chairperson of the Accident Offices Committee of the Nigerian Insurers Association (NIA) between 2014 and 2016.

In addition, she is the Vice President of the Professional Insurance Ladies Association (PILA).

She is happily married and blessed with three children.
