BY CHIDIMA AGU —The West African Insurance Companies Association (WAICA) has announced that its annual Education Conference will be held in Banjul, The Gambia, from November 22 to 25, 2026.
The event will take place at the Sir Dawda Kairaba Jawara International Conference Center in Bijilo, Banjul, under the theme “Harnessing AI and Insurtech for Financial Inclusion.”
According to statement released by Davis Iyasere, Secretary General/CEO, of the Association, it thanked member companies for their continued participation in its regional conferences and initiatives.
The statement added that the conference’s Local Organizing Committee has put together what it described as an inspiring and impactful event program.
It also urged member companies to sponsor delegates and to partner on conference activities and branded items as part of efforts to make the event a success.
The registration portal for delegates is now open at https://waica.net/delegate-registration-form/.
The Secretariat said further updates on the conference will be shared in the coming weeks.
