The board and management of Mutual Benefits Assurance Plc yesterday celebrated the 23rd thanksgiving service to give praise to God as leading light for the success of the company.
Lagos attributed the success of the company to the act of thanksgiving to God, saying ” it is the grace of God that has sustained the company till date, we have no power of our own.”
“Starting the year with a thanksgiving service like this has always been awesome for us. This is the 23rd we are doing in the series. Since the company started, we have been given reverence to God because it is God that has given us the grace.”

He cited a passage in the Holy Bible which reads “God inhabits in the praise of his people”, adding that if you know how to pray it is good enough, God answers prayers but praise moves God.

He was optimistic that, as they have praise, danced and rolled before God, certainly, surely God will be with us in 2019.
Speaking on the Long Service Award, the chairman noted that all the awardees have in the time past distinguished themselves in the company, advising other staffs against jumping from one place to another noting that “a Rolling Stone gathers no mouse”.
“For them to remain in the company means they are productive, we have a policy in Mutual Benefit, if you don’t get promoted from one level to another within 3 years, we just give you one year grace then we booth you out.”
The Mutual Benefits boss added that the company is set to be the most profitable company in Nigeria, a preferred insurance company operating on basis of professionalism, ethical practice with the fear of God.
Also speaking, the retired General Evangelist of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Prophet Dr S. K Abiara, who delivered the sermon, urged Nigerians to be at rest, as the forthcoming elections will be a peaceful one.
“Don’t listen to prophesy of doom, don’t run away, the future of Nigeria is good, keep your mind at rest.”
He admonished Nigerians to be grateful to God in good and bad times “Because the chairman thanks God annually, this company soar higher and higher and it’s located all over the country, the country has faced so many challenges but God has been keeping this company strong.”
