Access Bank Up Profit To N52.55b In Q1 2021

BY NKECHI NAECHE-ESEZOBOR–Access Bank Plc, Nigeria’s top lender, said its group was able to grow its profit for the first quarter ended 31, March 2021 from N40.929 billion in Q1 2020 to N52.547 billion at the same quarter of 2021; representing a growth of 28.39%.

The lender disclosed this when it released its unaudited consolidated and separate financial statements for the period ended 31 March 2021, noting that the group net interest income after impairment charges rising to N81.424 billion from N63.630 billion in Q1 2020.
