Barely few days following his resignation as National Chairman of the All Progressive Part y(APC), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has been appointed as Chairman of the Board of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) on Wednesday, 9 July, 2025, reports Business Today

Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, made this known in Abuja on Wednesday, 9 July, 2025 during the official inauguration of the reconstituted boards of several aviation agencies

Recall that Ganduje, a former Kano governor, had tendered his resignation late last month in a letter to the party leadership, giving health concerns.

However, party observers said hisv resignation was made to pave the way for discussions around the possible return of former presidential candidate Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso to the APC.
