Again, Court Grants Emefiele N300million Bail

An Abuja High Court sitting at Maitama, in Abuja on Wednesday granted a former embattled Governor of the Central Bank, Godwin Emefiele, bail.

The court, in a ruling that was delivered by Justice Hamza Muazu, granted bail in the sum of N300m and two sureties in like sum.

Justice Hamza Muazu, noted that the sureties must have certificates of occupancy and titles of properties within the Maitama District.

The former CBN boss is also required to submit all his travel documents with the registrar of the court and must remain within the Abuja Municipal Council.

He will remain in Kuje Correctional Centre pending when he meets the bail conditions.
