APC moves governorship primary election to Sept.30

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress(APC) has moved its governorship primary election earlier fixed for Sept.29, across states of the federation to Sept. 30.

The party disclosed this in a statement issued by Mr Yekini Nabena,the APC National Publicity Secretary on Thursday in Abuja.

He added that subsequent elections,however, remained unchanged, adding that while the Senate primary election would hold on Oct. 2,that of the House of Representatives would hold on Oct.3.

He added that the State House of Assembly primary election would hold on Oct 4,while the party’s Presidential National Convention would hold on Oct.6.

According to Nabena in a separate statement, below is a list of governorship aspirants from states of the federation that were cleared to contest the primaries by the party’s Governorship Screening Committee.
