APC Sweeps Kano Municipal and Ungogo Constituencies in By-Elections

BY NANA IBRAHIM(ABJ)—The All Progressives Congress (APC) has secured decisive victories in the by-elections for the Kano Municipal and Ungogo constituencies in the Kano State House of Assembly.

In Kano Municipal, APC candidate Aliyu Nabil Daneji polled 7,484 votes to claim the seat, while in Ungogo Constituency, APC’s Aminu Sa’ad garnered 8,975 votes to emerge victorious. The Returning Officers, Professors Ibrahim Tajo Siraj and Ali Tijjani Abdullahi, officially announced and declared both candidates duly elected.

The results reinforce the APC’s strong political presence in Kano State and maintain its representation in the State House of Assembly.
