AXA Mansard Chairman Acquires 5 million Shares Valued at ₦67.5 million

BY NKECHI NAECHE-ESEZOBOR-Ahead of insurance industry recapitalization deadline, the Chairman of  AXA Mansard Insurance Plc , Mr. Kolawole Adesina, has acquired 5 Million Shares.

According to the notification, titled insider dealing and signed by its Company Secretary Omowunmi Adewusi, Adesina,  purchased ordinary shares of AXA Mansard Insurance Plc.

The transaction involved the acquisition of 5 million ordinary shares of the insurer at a price of ₦13.50 per share, bringing the total value of the deal to ₦67.5 million.

The shares, were purchased on 12 December 2025 in Lagos.

AXA Mansard Insurance Plc, disclosed that the transaction represents a routine insider dealing notification and does not constitute an amendment to any previous filing.

The company was incorporated in 1989 as a private limited liability company registered as a composite company with the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM).
