Breaking: Lagos Speaker, Obasa Impeached By 32 Lawmakers

BY NKECHI NAECHE-ESEZOBOR— The  Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, has been impeached for multiple statutory and financial infractions.

Obasa was accused of spending N17 billion on a gate to the assembly complex.

He was impeached by 32 members of the House and replaced by his Deputy Lasbat Meranda.
