BREAKING: Nigerian Govt Lifts Ban On Twitter

The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), on Wednesday lifted the suspension on Twitter operations in the country, effective from 12 am, January 13, 2022.

The Chairman Technical Committee Nigeria-Twitter Engagement and Director-General National Information Technology Development Agency, Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi disclosed this in a statement released today.

The statement added that the  approval was given following a memo written to the President by Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Prof Isa Ali Ibrahim.
