BusinessToday Communication Limited, the organizer of the 8th BusinessToday annual Conference, Nigeria’s Biggest Insurance and Pension Conference/ Exhibition, on Monday, released names of panelists for the epoch event.
The theme of this year’s conference is, “The World Of AI: How Insurance And Pension Sectors Can Explore Opportunities For Market Penetration,” and will be chaired by Mr. Tope Smart, Chairman, NEM Insurance Plc.
The annual conference is billed to hold on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at the Ballroom of Oriental Hotel, Lekki, Lagos.
The keynote Speaker is the Chief Executive Officer, Cowry Asset Limited, Mr. Johnson Chukwu.
The Commissioner for Insurance, National Insurance Commission (NAICOM), Mr. Sunday Thomas, will be the Special Guest of honour.

Mr Mgbame Michael, Founder, Hankali Intel:
Michael is a Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine learning expert with accolades across various industries both within and outside Nigeria, cutting across the Power, Financial Services, Technology, Retail, and Education sectors.
He is a professional consultant who designs need-based solutions that are tailored to the specific challenges of any business ranging from, developing custom reports targeted at identifying revenue opportunities, and building AI-trained solutions, to Data gathering, cleaning, and management.
Hankali Intel, as his platform, with a vision, “To be Africa’s Leading Data Analytics service provider,” where he serves as the Lead Data Consultant. Hankali Intel is a fast growing DMaaS, DAaaS, Process Automation, and Edtech company.
Tosin Bayo-Yusuf: Tosin has a cumulative 17 years of work experience in the Nigerian Insurance industry. She joined Heirs Life in 2021 and has held several leadership positions as the Head, Individual Life Operations, and most recently, as the Head of Bancassurance, where she championed the bancassurance partnership with United Bank for Africa.
Idu Okwuosa-Okeahialam, Pension Guru: Idu is a dynamic pension fund expert in both pension administration and custody in Nigeria’s Contributory Pension Scheme.
She has contributed innovative and positive changes in the industry, influencing regulations, challenging the status quo, and increasing awareness in the pension scheme.
Her experience spans funds management, compliance and risk management, client relationship management, and customer experience in the financial and oil and gas sectors.
She was the former managing Director/ CEO of Access Pension Custodian.
Ademola Abidogun: Ademola is currently the Managing Director/CEO of Guinea Insurance Plc. He brings over two decades of leadership experience and direction to the table. A seasoned professional with inestimable depth and wealth of technical experience acknowledged across the industry.
His combined expertise in marketing, insurance broking, underwriting/claims administration, oil and gas, banking, telecoms, reinsurance, product development, business risk advisory, special risks and strategic planning, offer a formidable springboard for relaunching the Company’s propensity to act and hence, develop and implement sustainable plans for long-term growth and shareholder value creation
He is an alumnus of the prestigious London and Lagos Business Schools as well as the University of Texas. As an erudite insurance professional, he has attended numerous management courses and seminars both locally and internationally.
Speaking on the panelists for the conference, The Convener, Mrs. Nkechi Naeche- Esezobor. said the panelists and conference theme were carefully chosen, assuring that the conference committee have confident that they would deliver a top-notch session at the conference.
She added that over 200 stakeholders from the insurance and pension sectors as well as the financial services sector are expected to grace the event.
