CAC Directs SCOA Nigeria To Obtain Court Order Before Holding 2019/2020 AGM

Scoa Nigeria has said that the delay in holding its combined 2019 and 2020 Annual General Meeting  was as a result of the company’s inability to obtain the approval of the Corporate Affairs Commission to combine the AGM for the 2019 and 2020 financial year.

The company in a statement said having held its 2018 AGM on 14h April, 2021 it is currently preparing for its combined meeting for 20l9 and 2020, but he CAC directed that the company should obtain a court order to combine the two AGMs.

“The Company is already in the process of obtaining the Court Order to hold the combined AGM,” the statement said. “The Board of Directors of the Company will be meeting soon to review the preparations ald fix the exact date of the Annual General Meetings, which may likely be in December, 2021 as well as approach the Court for the Court Order.
