BY GABRIEL ESEZOBOR—May 27 is a very important day in the life of every child, because it is CHILDREN’S DAY. It’s a day where families take their children out for fun but most times children with special needs are left out. As a result, the Super Parents Foundation, a non governmental organization has joined the rest of the world to celebrate children living with disabilities.

The party, which took place today in Ibadan, Oyo state featured free therapy and medical consultation, free medicine were given and recommendations. The children were also treated to games, singing and dancing.

Speaking on the essence of the event, the founder and President of the foundation, Mrs Mofoluwasho Liasu, said the foundation was particular about children with disabilities.

She appreciated all parents for going the extra mile in taking care of their children.
She also advised them to love their child because that is the first therapy a child can get.
At the event the children were presented with CP chairs, clothes, shoes, food items and financial support to enable them live better.
Super parents Foundation focuses on celebrating differences and fostering inclusion of children living with disabilities.
