Cornerstone Insurance Appoints Omonkhogbe As Non-ED, As Ogbechie Resigns

BY NKECHI NAECHE-ESEZOBOR—Ahead of recapitalization, Cornerstone Insurance Plc on Friday announced the resignation of Mr. Emeka Anthony Ogbechie and the appointment of Mr. Ejakhaluse Zoe Omonkhogbe as a Non-Executive Director.

The company in a notice to shareholders, dealing house and investing public posted via Nigerian Exchange Group, official saidOmonkhogbe was appointed as a Non-Executive Director by the Board, and his appointment was approved by the National Insurance Commission on 28th July 2025.

His appointment will be ratified at thenext Annual General Meeting of the Company.

The notice added that he is a seasoned finance executive with over two decades of
experience spanning private equity, real estate, and professional services.

His currently serves as Executive Director at Capital Alliance Nigeria, where he leads the firm’s finance and tax functions. In addition to his executive responsibilities, he holds non-executive directorships across multiple companies, contributing deep financial acumen and governance expertise to board-level decision-making.

Omonkhogbe holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science and Education and earned his MBA
as a Welch Scholar from the Jack Welch Management Institute. Mr. Omonkhogbe is a
Chartered Accountant and a Certified Treasury Professional, and has completed executive
education programs at the London School of Business and Finance and the University of
