Dowen College Shut Indefinitely Over Death Of 12-yr-old Sylvester

Lagos State Government on Friday ordered the closure of Dowen College in Lekki over the death of Sylvester Oromoni Jnr.

Oromoni was allegedly murdered by students and there are fears that the culprits are on the run or left the country.

Commissioner for Education, Mrs. Folasade Adefisayo, announced the closure after a meeting with the School’s Management and Staff.i
Adefisayo said the college will remain shut pending the outcome of an investigation into the death of Master Sylvester Oromoni (Jnr), a student of the school.I

Adefisayo called for calm among the stakeholders, stressing that no effort will be spared in getting to the root of the incident.
