Ebonyi Man Allegedly Hangs Self After Hearing Strange Voices

Ebonyi State police Command on Thursday confirmed that 24-year-old man named Joshua Kosoro has hanged himself after telling his relatives that he was hearing strange voices at Umuogodo Akpu in Ohaukwu Local Government Area (LGA) state state.

The Ebonyi State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Joshua Ukandu, who confirmed the sad development l, said the incident occurred on Sunday, November 16

He said Kosoro had returned from his base in Lagos to his Umuogodo Akpu community and told his relatives that he was hearing strange voices

According to Ukandu, Kosoro hanged himself after his relatives went out to look for solution to his complaint and left him at home.
“He said that the voices talk to him and always ask him to do strange things.

“The relatives went out to look for solution to the issue; as everyone was away from the house he stayed back; before they could comeback, they saw that he has hanged himself to death.

“The officers of the command visited the scene and the body was taken to the hospital, where he was certified dead.

The state police publicist disclosed that the report was brought to the command’s table by his relatives adding that investigation into the incident had commenced.
