Edo State Police Command on Monday confirmed that it operatives from Uromi Division have arrested two teenage girls, Believe Ehinor (18) and Ofoma Sofia (19), for being in possession of an automatic pump-action shotgun, with Breach No. 0230.
The female suspects were intercepted and arrested at about 11.30 pm on Tuesday, November 25, 2025.
Five live cartridges concealed in a sack bag were recovered from them.
The Edo State Police Command Public Relations Officer, CSP Moses Yamu, who made this disclosure through statement, disclosed that the suspects confessed that the weapon belongs to one Peace Ehinor, who escaped during an earlier raid.
