EFCC Arrests 74 Over Alleged Internet Fraud In Abuja, Recovers 86 Mobile Phones, One Pistol

At least 74 suspected Internet fraudsters in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja have been arrested by the officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), reports Business TodayNG.

According to the anti-graft agency, the arrest was made after a raid on Monday, 30 June, 2025 at Joyous Hotel in Nyanya, a suburb of the FCT.

The commission spokesperson, Dele Oyewale, who made this disclosure in a statement issued on Monday,30 June, 2025,  revealed that items recovered during the operation include 86 mobile phones, a rifle pistol, and three motorcycles.
