Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) and Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) have appealed to consumers in some parts of Victoria Island to bear with them over power outage in the last four days.
Mr Godwin Idemudia, General Manager, Corporate Communications, EKEDC, in a statement made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos, said a team of engineers was working to rectify the fault.
Idemudia said the outage was due to a fault at the Alagbon Transmission Substation in Lagos.
“EKEDC has been assured of speedy repair of the fault by TCN’s team of engineers in good time.
“We regret the inconveniences the outage may have caused our customers and urged those in the affected areas to bear with us.
“We assure all of our commitment to excellent customer satisfaction and service delivery at all times,” he said in a statement.
According to the general manager, the areas affected include Ikoyi, Moloney Street, Berkeley, Osborne Phase 2, Dolphin Estate and other adjoining areas.
