The Governor of Enugu State, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, has pledged to support the construction of the first solar powered estate being built by CBN Cooperative in partnership with Geometrix Homes and Estates Ltd., in Enugu.

According to a statement, the governor made the pledge when the national executive committee of the CBN Cooperative led by its president, Isa Aminu Buhari and the Management of Geometrix Homes and Estates Ltd paid a courtesy call on him at the Government House.

Buhari while briefing the governor said the project which is one of the first set to be built across the states with their partner Geometrix Homes and Estates Ltd is intended to be environmentally friendly and will solve the perennial energy problem which afflicts most homes in Nigeria as a result of fossil fuel powered energy.
