FG Declares Tomorrow Public Holiday To Mark Workers’ Day Celebration

The Federal Government on Wednesday declared Thursday, May 1, 2025, as public holiday to mark  Workers’ Day celebration.
According to statement by the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, on Tuesday and by Magdalene Ajani,
 the Permanent Secretary in the ministry, also appluded Nigerian  workers for their diligence and sacrifice, reiterating the need for peace to drive industrialization and economic growth.
He noted that workers’ efforts are mainly responsible for the greatness of the country and the respect Nigeria commands in the comity of nations.
He however urged workers to imbibe the culture of innovation and productivity.
He  urged Nigerians to keep hope alive as the present government is committed to the Renewed Hope Agenda it promised.
