According to OAGF, the Federal Government had earlier paid one month out of the initial five months of outstanding arrears, adding that with the payment of the second tranche, there remain three tranches to exhaust the wage award arrears.

The payment by the Federal Government comes as the Nigerian Labour Congress(NLC) had earlier lamented the approach to payment of the wage award arrears.
