Fidelity Bank H1 2019 Pretax Profit Surge To N15.05 Billion

BY NKECHI NAECHE ESEZOBOR—Fidelity Bank Plc at weekend announced a Pretax profit of N15.05 billion for the half-year (H1) period ended June 30, 2019 when compared to N13.01 billion achieved same period of 2018, representing 15.69 percent increase.

The bank disclosed this through a notice to the Nigerian Stock Exchange that Gross earnings of the lender grew by 12.31 percent, from N92.29 billion in the H1 period of 2018 to N103.65 billion in 2019.

Post-tax profit also went up by 15.55 percent to stand at N13 .68 billion from N11.84 billion posted a year ago.
