Bundlesliga giants Borussia Dortmund have announced that they have agreed a deal to sell Jamie Gittens to English Premier League(EPL) club Chelsea, reports Bussiness Today NG.
“We discovered Jamie very early, practically signed him for free, continuously developed him in our youth performance centre, and also offered him playing time at the very highest level with the first team.
“Jamie has repaid the trust placed in him with commitment, performance, and goals,” Dortmund managing director Lars Ricken said in a club statement.
According to the club, Gittens is expected to put pen to paper on a seven-year contract that worth around £55 million.Stamford Bridge.
The 20-year-old winger moved to Dortmund from Manchester City in 2020, but made his senior debut in 2022.
Since then, the English winger has made a total of 107 appearances in all competitions, scoring 17 goals.
Last season, Gittens scored 12 goals in 48 games, including four in the Champions League.
