Immigration Officers, Army Arrest 46 Suspected Illegal Migrants in Ogun

Personnel of the Nigeria Immigration Service, working alongside soldiers of the Nigerian Army, have successfully detained 46 foreign nationals suspected of residing unlawfully in Ogun State, located in southwestern Nigeria.

Those taken into custody include 23 citizens of Côte d’Ivoire, 18 from Burkina Faso, four nationals of Togo, and one citizen of Senegal.

Authorities disclosed that inquiries are underway to verify the immigration status of the individuals involved, after which appropriate regulatory and judicial measures will be implemented.
