Martins Otse, aka VryDarkMan on Police Uniform
Social critic and influencer Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, will appear in court today.
This is following allegations of impersonation related to the unauthorized use of Nigeria Police Force uniforms in a viral social media video.
According to statement posted by the Nigeria Police via its X handle titled: “impersonation: VDM To Appear In Court Today, FCT Command Leading Prosecution”that the FCT Police Command is actively handling the case, underscoring the Police commitment to upholding the integrity of its symbols and preventing their misuse.
Interested persons are encouraged to follow up on the proceedings as the case unfolds, the tweet noted.
VDM had in a video post apologized to the force, advising Nigerians to always seek permission before using the forces property.
