LASACO Assurance Profit Decline To N181.387million In Q1 2021

NKECHI NAECHE–ESEZOBOR—LASACO Assurance Plc, has announced a profit after tax dropped of  31.9% for the period ended 31, March 2021.

The Insurer disclosed this when it released its financial statement for first quarter period ended 31st March, 2021 on the floor of Nigerian Exchange Group to dealing members that it’s profit declined to N181.387 million from N266.371 million reported in Q1 2020.

However, the company’s gross premium rose to N6.698 billion from N4 billion in Q1 2020, indicating 31.9% increase.
