MTN Nigeria Set To Raise N72.1billion Through Commercial Paper

BY GABRIEL ESEZOBOR—MTN Nigeria said it has concluded plans to to issue N72.1 billion series 10 commercial aper note under its N250 billion commercial paper issuance programme.

This is contained in a notice to the Nigerian Exchange Limited signed by Uto Ukpanah, Company Secretary, that the “Issuance is part of the Comnpany’s strategy to diversify its funding sources with the funds being deployed towards short-term working capital requirements.
