Dr. Akin Ogunbiyi, Group Chairman Mutual Benefits Assurance PLC
BY NKECHI NAECHE-ESEZOBOR–Twenty- seven years after its establishment, Mutual Benefits Assurance Plc has been able to overcome the turbulence in the business environment, Group Chairman, Dr. Akin Ogunbiyi has said.
He made this known during the company’s 27th Annual Thanksgiving held yesterday in Lagos, that the firm was a vision handed over by God.
Ogunbiyi, who recounted how the company started he said, the foundation of the firm was laid on God, adding that all that the firm has done and achieved were through God.
He said if you don’t know the importance of praises, I want you to start now.
Speaking on the uniqueness of the annual event, he said God has being faithful and good to the company, hence, they would never take the grace of God for granted as the success and feat achieved in the 27 years of existence of the company was by God’s amazing grace.
He appreciated the former Chairman of the firm Akin Opeodu for his wonderful role that saw to the establishment of the firm.
Also, the managing director/CEO of the firm, Femi Asenuga, said with the help of God the firm has continued to sustained the thanksgiving service.
He went further to appreciate the Staffs and customers for their various contributions to the growth of the company .
Pastor Bolaji Idowu of Harvesters International Christian Center, the leadership of the company for counting it worthy every year to appreciate God for His gestures.
The Thanksgiving also featured rewards to 62 outstanding employees who had contributed immensely to the growth of the organisation.
