Football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano has disclosed that Turkish football giants.Galatasaray and Italian Seria A sided Napoli are now at the final stages of the Victor Osimhen deal after positive talks on Thursday, 17 July, 2025, reports Businees Today NG
According to Romano, Galatasaray are set to pay €40m now and €35m by the end of 2026.
Napoli have included a clause that the Turkish giants must not sell Osimhen to Italian clubs for two years.
What remains now are the guarantees and the sell-on clause for the deal to be sealed.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the most surprising detail is that Galatasaray will not be allowed to sell Osimhen to an Italian club before 2027, under penalty of a heavy fine that would double the purchase price.
Napoli President, Aurelio De Laurentiis was adamant that the Nigerian would not return to Serie A in another shirt within a year. And with good reason—there’s every chance he’ll shine again at Galatasaray.
Osimhen, in his best, will be a major asset for Galatasaray as they chase another league title and look to make a strong impression in the Champions League.
