NEM Insurance Extends  Share Reconstruction, Redenomination To December 29, 2021

BY NKECHI NAECHE-ESEZOBOR–Nigeria’s lead underwriter, NEM Insurance Plc  has announced a new date for it’s share Reconstruction and Redenomination to be completed.

According to a notice made available to BusinessToday Online that “With reference to the notice of Share Reconstruction/Redenomination by NEM Insurance Plc given on the 9th of December 2021, the Company hereby informs its shareholders and the investing public that the reconstruction/redenomination of NEM Insurance Plc’s shares from a nominal share value of N0.50 to N1.00 is yet to be completed.”

It added that to facilitate the completion including the re-listing of the reconstructed shares, the Company hereby gives notice that the exercise will be extended till 29th December 2021, to enable Nigerian Exchange Limited list the reconstructed shares
