BY JOE ADEBOWALE—The Niger State Government has received 100 schoolchildren who were abducted last month from St. Mary’s Catholic Primary and Secondary School, Papiri, in Agwara Local Government Area.

The children regained their freedom 17 days after the attack, which had left families, community members and the government in deep distress.

While the release has brought immense relief to the parents of the freed pupils, those whose children remain in captivity continue to endure anxiety and uncertainty.
