NNPCL Rakes In N4.571tn Revenue, N905bn PAT In June

The state-owned oil firm, the  Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited has disclosed that  it  recorded a total of  N4.571 trillion in June 2025, reports Business Today NG

NNPCL,  in a summary report released on its X account on Monday, 21 July, 2025,  said from the N4.571 trillion revenue, it recorded a profit after tax of N905 billion.

The company also disclosed that it has made N6.961 trillion in statutory payments to the Federation Account from January to May 2025.

NNPCL reported crude oil and condensate production of 1.68 million barrels per day in June, the highest since January 2025.

The June figures represent the strongest crude and condensate production in five months, peaking at 1.68 mbpd, up from 1.63 mbpd in May and 1.61 mbpd in April. Of this, crude oil accounted for 1.42 mbpd, while condensate made up 0.26 mbpd.

In terms of crude oil and condensate sales, however, June saw a slight drop to 21.68 million barrels from 24.77 million barrels in May. February still recorded the highest sales volume of 25.31 million barrels this year.

The report also showed improved performance in gas output, with natural gas production hitting 7.581 billion standard cubic feet per day (scf/d) in June, up from 7.352 billion scf/d in May and 6.615 billion scf/d in February, indicating a sustained recovery in Nigeria’s gas sector.

Other data reported by NNPCL include petrol availability at its retail petrol stations standing at 71 percent; pipeline availability across the upstream network at 97 percent; the OB3 pipeline project being 96 percent complete; the AKK project at 83 percent complete; and review work continuing at the Port Harcourt, Warri, and Kaduna refineries.
