BY NKECHI NAECHE-ESEZOBOR—Former presidential flag bearer of the Labour Party in the 2023 general election, Peter Obi, alongside ex-Kano State governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, have both moved  to the newly formed Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC).

The duo confirmed their switch following a private meeting with the party’s national leader, Seriake Dickson, held at his Abuja residence.

Their latest political realignment comes just months after both men aligned with the African Democratic Congress (ADC) upon leaving their former parties.
