The major opposition political party in Nigeria, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has called on President Bola Tinubu to bury the idea that he will be re-elected by Nigerians in 2027, urging to start preparing his handover note.
The Organising Secretary of the Adamawa State chapter of party, Hamza Madagali, who stated this while speaking at the PDP state secretariat in Yola, Adamawa State capital on Friday, said the public had lost patience with the current administration.
Madagali pointed to the party’s successful ward congresses in Adamawa as evidence of renewed unity and strength, suggesting it could translate into electoral victory.
“If you look at the composition of the National Convention committees, it is clear that APC’s days in the presidency are numbered.
“Nigerians are wiser now; they know the difference between genuine and fake leadership.
“They cannot afford to gamble with their children’s future. The only way forward is to return the PDP to power,” the PDP chieftain said.
